The Holy Priesthood, after the Order of the Son of God, is the definitive and divine authority bestowed upon us by Jesus Christ. He has empowered us, as priests, to begin the great work of building His kingdom on earth. Comprising the High Priesthood and Levitical Priesthoods, ours is a sacred calling to administer ordinances, teach the Holy Scriptures, seal up evil, and gather followers of Jesus Christ together. Distinct from other priesthoods, it is uniquely authorized to wield the keys of salvation with authority.
