They preserve the dealings of God with His people, teach His commandments and covenants, testify of the Savior, and invite all souls to repent, believe, walk in holiness, and come unto Christ.

The True Church of Jesus Christ preserves the Holy Bible and additional sacred records because God has spoken to His children in many ages and among many peoples. These records do not replace Jesus Christ; they testify of Him, confirm His gospel, and help restore plain and precious truths that have often been neglected, obscured, or lost.
