The Book of Commandments Section 12 - Daughters
1Write for the sisters.
2Thus Sayeth the Lord; my daughters stand precious before me. They are to be the light of the home and unto their husbands. Sisters of my church, even all of my daughters in the world, are to be chaste and holy in all things.
3My daughters are to be devoted, focused, and honest before me and before the world. Their strength shall abound in good works and through their purity.
4Women of the church shall cleave unto their husbands. Young women shall follow the guidance of their elder sisters. Women of all ages shall follow the words of the living prophet and the ordained elders of the church.
5Women are to edify and strengthen their husbands, their sisters and brothers, their sons and daughters. The labors of a just woman are every inch as important as the men, but not to be confused with each other.
6There is much beauty in the woman who brings a special light to all things attended to in righteous devotion to their duties.
7Sisters, find the love which exists within you, from your father in heaven. Find peace in fulfilling your duties as a loving wife, sister, mother, and daughter. Find the grace which abounds in Jesus Christ.
8Be whole, my daughters. Stand before the church and the world, unwavering in your strength, beauty, devotion, chastity, charity, and love. For your savior loves you.
