The Book of Commandments Section 19 - The New and Everlasting Covenant
1Listen to the words from he who sits on the throne in the heavens, at the right hand of the Father of Lights, even he who was slain for the sins of the world.
2Behold the peace and the power of the lamb; even the love that has come into the world to atone for the sins of the children of the most high God. Hear the voice of one who cries from the wilderness. Hear the voice of the most Holy One of Israel.
3The light and the life of men is in him. In him is the life of all things created under the heavens and in the earth. For all things are alive in Jesus Christ.
4My children. My Saints. Hear my voice. Feel my presence in the world, for I am not of the world but I am of the spirit and I call in the spirit to those who can hear. My children. Be as you were in the beginning - pure, undefiled and full of light. You have come on this journey to learn of the darkness and to be tried for your righteousness and your faithfulness.
5My children. Live by the words which now flow down and cleave unto my gospel which is the gospel of peace and of faith, yea even the gospel of life, found in repentance and in the baptism of the spirit for the purification and rebirth of all who partake and believe in the name of the son of god who is Jesus Christ.
6Find your way my children. Find your way back to me by the words of my prophet, who speaks for me and of me in all things. For Moses cried unto Israel “oh would that all would be prophets”, in the name of the Son.
7For my life and my words flow unceasingly to all who will hear and to all who will see. All may prophesy in the name of the Alpha and the Omega who am I - Jesus Christ - the creator of the heavens and the earth and the author and finisher of your faith.
8Behold, my children. Behold the great works which shall soon come to pass upon the earth. For the earth is but a footstool wherein all things are under my dominion.
9I give unto you, my faithful and purified children, who have taken my name upon you, living under the yoke of my power, and under my wing - to you it is given the priesthood after the order of the Son of God.
10Unto you, my faithful and righteous priests, I give the sealing power and the keys of the Holy priesthood for to seal up evil; yea all evil which is to be judged in righteousness and faith and to be sealed up on the earth to be held in bonds until I return in the great and last day of my glory.
11No longer shall my priests be held by the weaknesses of men. No longer shall my work be stayed by the fear of men and women who cannot face the trials before them.
12From this day forth, those who are found spotless in my sight are given the power of the Holy priesthood, the keys and the authority to seal up evil until I come.
13Yea, to my priests - speak to the evil now. Speak in public or in your bed. Speak to all or to the Spirit. But speak nevertheless and that which you declare in my name shall be done
14Follow my priests, and you shall hear my voice in due time, in accordance with your faithfulness and righteousness.
15My children. Be one. Be one in all things.
16I give unto you a commandment and a covenant, by the mouth of my servant. Even the same new and everlasting covenant which was given in the beginning: Be clean my children. Be clean and free of the cares and the temptations of the world. Be one in me. Fill your hearts with my gospel, repent of your sins and once again, be the children of the most high God. Be the children of Israel. Build Zion in the Great Basin beside the lake of Salt. Build again the great city of Jerusalem in the land of your fathers. Build the two witnesses of the heavens which are my holy cities. And then my children - find and gather your brothers and sisters, the sons and the daughters of Israel. Find them, teach them, baptize them unto repentance and give them the gift of the Holy Ghost. Eschew evil. Cast off the chains of the wicked one. Come unto me and be filled with my spirit and my light. And then, my dear and precious children, you shall be my people and I shall be your God. This is the covenant I had given unto your fathers and it is the same covenant which has never wavered nor has it changed, even from the beginning.
17Behold, my children. Hear the words of me, even Jesus Christ, whose word is as a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of the joints and the marrow, piercing into the souls of men, giving light, life and the spirit of truth to all who will hear my voice.
18Be of good cheer. Love each other and hold fast. Gird up your loins and be sober for the day of reckoning is nigh at hand in my vineyard. The pruning to commence for the last time by the hands of my servants, at the direction of my priests.
