The Book of Commandments Section 26 - Tally the Votes
1Son of man, tally the votes.
2It is time for the borders of my vineyard to enlarge. The stakes shall be strengthened and the weeds shall be removed. I the Lord have called my workers from on high and they shall begin the clearing of the brush.
3Thus Sayeth the Lord; the votes shall be cast and the course shall be set towards the establishment of Zion, even my Holy city upon the hills.
4By the mouth of my servant, I decree a new day. The lands shall be changed in the blink of an eye, to the confusion of the heathen. But my sheep shall know my voice for it is I who speak the word from the heavens.
5Thus Sayeth the Lord; the election shall progress towards nigh a certainty and the enemy shall wail with delight. But my Saints shall not waiver in their gifts of faith. The howls shall be heard and the rooms shall shake with the wailing and gnashing of teeth.
6And I the Lord shall set the course in mine own way. The city shall be built from the ashes of the fallen heroes who gave all they had to the fight. They are at peace in me and I am with them.
7For great have been the battles of the righteous and the wicked, and great has been the torment of my Saints upon the earth. I have lost so many children to the snares of the wicked one.
8My brothers and sisters, be of good cheer. For I am in your midst and I have overcome the world so that all may be saved as the day draws near. Collect yourselves. Gird up your loins and be sober, for the day soon approaches and the night comes fast.
9Yea, tally the votes. For as the great battle is waged, so shall the faithful be saved in the end.
10I have spoken, Amen.
