The Book of Commandments Section 27 - The Cabinet
1Speak to the cabinet. Speak to the lies and the corruption. Speak for the people who earnestly seek me.
2Thus Sayeth the Lord; hear me all ye people who live upon the face of the earth. I am the Alpha and the Omega, even he who was slain for the sins of all mankind. I have taken upon me your sins and your pains so that there may be a redemption at the great and last day.
3Behold. So Sayeth the Lord; the time of corruption in the bowels of the governments shall now be at an end. For the laws of my house were given to hold up all men before me in righteousness and honour. But my house has succumbed to the wiles of the devil and it has become a place of rot and decay. The jackals now feed upon the columns built by men devoted to the glory of God. The mites burrow in to the beams of the great structure of freedom, even the house of order which was built to be a lattice upon which all may climb towards me.
4Thus Sayeth the Lord; the cabinet shall fall, it shall be the undoing of the plans of the wicked ones who pollute my house with their greed and their filth. Wo! Wo unto my fallen children who sell themselves for naught and who have let the rot of evil settle into their souls! For I the Lord have created them all in mine image and to be partakers of the glory and the inheritances of the Kingdom of God.
5Yea, my heart pains for the lost children of the house of Israel. My heart pains for the fallen ones who have been caught in the snares of the devil and his spirits. Yea, they shall reap their reward for their labours of injustice and unrighteousness upon the earth.
6Thus Sayeth the Lord; by the mouth of my servant, I have decreed the beginning of the end of the corrupt workings in my governments. The cabinet shall fail and all shall be restored so as to again lift up the ensign of righteousness upon my land.
7For there remains much to do in Zion unto the building up of my great city, New Jerusalem - even God’s city. There is much to be done and many souls to be saved. The cabinet shall fail and their devious works are now at an end. The time has come for Zion to flourish upon the mountains, even as it was declared from the beginning.
8I say unto all who will hear my voice; how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who declare tidings of peace to all men. My city shall no longer be hid nor corrupted. Their works shall be confounded and their labors shall be halted, for I am the Alpha and the Omega, even the creator of the Heavens and the earth, and all things therein. I am Jesus Christ and I command you to step down from your wickedness and to be weak now. Your works are hereby sealed by the mouth of my servant and the by the authority of the Holy Priesthood, after the Order of the Son of God, even I, who am Jesus Christ.
9Children of the world, even my sheep who hear my voice, you may now roll forth and make claim upon what is rightfully yours - even the whole earth, which shall be cleansed and sanctified for my return in the great and last day.
10Now go to, commence the great work of building Zion and of gathering the Saints. Preach my gospel, which is the gospel of repentance and of baptism for the remission of sins, for all mankind. Preach my gospel to all creatures upon the earth and do not waiver in your noble task which has been appointed to you.
11You are all numbered, even down to the hairs on your heads, for I love you and I wish for your safe return unto me in the end. Take great care my children. Take heed to be vigilant and always watchful. Pray always, pray often; in secret and on the housetops. And be of good cheer my children. Although the devil shall rage and the beast shall cry “blasphemy”, follow me my dear children. Follow me in faith and in righteousness, trusting that all shall be well in the face of death and hell. All shall be well my dear friends, for I wait for you at the bar of judgment ready to receive you with open arms, even all who believe in my name.
12I shall see you soon my dear children, I come quickly. Even so, Amen.
