The Book of Commandments
The Book of Commandments Section 30 - Sons
Thus Sayeth the Lord; my church is a fellowship. It is a great and everlasting covenant between man and God, for the purposes of the eternal salvation of all mankind.
Men who are ordained unto the High Priesthood of the True Church of Jesus Christ, nay even all of my sons, who call themselves Saints of the most high God, shall treat each other as brothers.
They shall be honest in all their comings and goings; repentant to a fault and sincere with one another in all things.
Yea, I say the brothers of the church shall cleave unto the Holy Ghost and edify one another after the order of the ancients. Build among yourselves a bond of trust, of fairness, of equality in all endeavors and undertakings, Sayeth the Lord.
My sons, hear the voice of the Lord and no more seek to consume one another nor take that which is not yours. For the brotherhood, nay, the discipleship unto which you are called and ordained is of the holiest calling and order upon the earth and shall henceforth be maintained with the strictest reverence and proceedings before the Lord and your fellow man.
Lies and lasciviousness have no place in my order, Sayeth He who was slain for your sins, even the sins of the world and of all mankind.
Brothers, even the priests of the most high God, ye shall be perfect, even as I am and as I have commanded you to be. Your profits shall come from above and shall no longer be sought from beneath. For all acts of business designed to extract unwilling gains from your fellow mankind come only from beneath. Be it usury, rent, taxation, lawlessness, trickery, sorcery, distraction, disease, murder, or any host of tactics and ideologies which are perpetrated by the lost and fallen children on earth; I the Lord condemn them all. Yea, I forbid you; my dear Saints, from committing any acts of business or trade which is other than honest, fair work for the express purposes of building Zion and gathering the house and the lost sheep of Israel.
My dear children, be brothers. The Lord calls you to hear one another. To hear and help each other, so as to be equal in all things; both temporal and spiritual upon the earth. My dear lost children; join together as brothers of the most high God of the heavens and the earth.
Yea, even be priests; sons of God sanctified and Holy, dedicated to one another in fairness and equity. Be Saints, my sons. Gather your families and your councils. Gather into Zion and build up my city, even my great shining city on the hill, which shall no longer be hid among the dark forces of the world.
Behold, I am Jesus Christ; He who created you. I command you to clear your minds and your hearts of evil and to join forces, wasting and wearing out your lives to save my children from the snares and clutches of the wicked one.
Be brothers, my sons.
I have spoken, Amen.
