The Book of Commandments
The Book of Commandments Section 31 - Seeds
The seeds of the tree of life have fallen to the ground, where they lie in wait for the light of the Savior to shine upon them, calling them to grow and thrive in his presence.
The seeds are but precious children of the most high God, and are full of grace and truth, as their Father in heaven. The children are born, loved by their mother and called by their Father, who loves them ever more.
The seeds in the fields are sown by the hand of the Lord knowing that they will not all return to him. He mourns for the lost and fallen children who are lost among the weeds of the world.
The great and noble battle of eternity must be fought. It must needs be a great and lasting struggle for all to experience and to be tried within the laws decreed in the foundation of the world.
The children shall awake and they shall breathe in the presence of the Father. They shall hear his voice and they shall know that it is He who created them and tries them in all things.
Yea, the seeds shall grow. They shall grow in strength and in power and in glory; the glory from above they may mirror and become, tested and tried in the ever loving presence of their Father in heaven. For the seeds are but yet tender sprigs shooting forth in the noon day sun.
The Lord calls unto his children and the children shall hear in faith. They cannot see him but they know his voice and they know his embrace. The seeds shall grow further still, wavering and searching for the light that they know is there. Searching for the beauty they once knew that gives life its purpose and its essence.
Yea, and some shall fall. Many shall wilt and die. Many shall rot and become leprous, even white and spotted, riddled with all manner of afflictions and torments. But the Father loves them still and waits for their return unto him.
And they shall grow still upwards, searching for him in all things, becoming further instilled with his precepts and his wisdom. He will try them even more so, teaching them of the powers to be handled, the forces of good and evil which must be known in the great and terrible battle of the eternities.
They shall be hardened, but lightened. They shall be forged and beaten; purged and pruned, made ready for the battles to come. Climbing higher still they shall be alone. More alone than they were before. They shall lament their brothers and sisters who have fallen away. But not all who have fallen are fallen. Not all who have wilted are wilted still. For the Lord knows his sheep and his purposes shall roll forth like the great and noble river of eternity.
Yea, there are many kingdoms and many mansions in the house of my Father. There are many who are chosen who are never known. But they are known of their Father who loves them and guides them. All of the children are loved. And their Father weeps for them who do not find him.
But the great plan must roll forth. Yea, the seasons must change and the river must flow. So shall the gifts of the heavens flow down unto the children of men, who are raised and prepared for their eternal place in the heavens.
Fear not my dear children. Be of good cheer. Do good and heed my teachings in all things. Watch always for my presence for you know not when I shall be in your midst.
When two or three are gathered in my name, even shall there be my spirit in the midst of them. Be kind and love one another.
Forgive each other and repent for your sins. Be one, my children. Be one in all things and raise up my words and teach them to all who will listen.
Even so, amen.
